2. Description of the Service
Coviyo is a video Co-Watch platform that allows users to:
- Sign in using their Google account
- Discover and view videos from platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and others
- Create, manage and join Watch Parties to watch videos in sync with others.
- In the future, invite friends and share playlists
The App does not host, download, or store any videos. All videos are streamed directly from their respective sources. Coviyo is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or legality of any video content linked or played within Watch Parties.
3. Third-Party Content and Services
Our App provides access to videos and metadata retrieved via APIs from third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube Data API, Vimeo API, Dailymotion API). We do not control or endorse any third-party content, and their respective terms and policies apply when using or viewing such content.

4. User Accounts and Authentication

- We are required to do so by law or third-party API providers (e.g., YouTube)
Upon termination, your data (favorites, playlists) may be deleted as per our Privacy Policy.
11. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance.
12. Watch Parties — User-Submitted Content & Copyright
Coviyo's Watch Party feature allows users to create synchronized viewing sessions by submitting a publicly accessible video URL. By submitting a URL to a Watch Party, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal right to share and publicly screen the linked video content
- The URL does not link to content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- The content does not violate any applicable law or third-party terms of service
Coviyo does not host, upload, or store any video content. We act solely as a technical conduit that loads a user-provided URL inside the Watch Party room. We do not pre-screen or moderate user-submitted URLs.
User Responsibility: You, as the Watch Party creator, are solely responsible for ensuring that any video URL you submit is legally shareable. VizSurge accepts no liability for copyright infringement or any other legal violation arising from user-submitted Watch Party content.
Copyright Takedown Requests: If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe that a Watch Party on VizSurge is streaming content that infringes your rights, please contact us immediately at:

- Your name and contact information
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed
- The Watch Party room name or URL where the content appears
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate
We will review all valid requests and take appropriate action, including removal of the Watch Party, as promptly as reasonably possible.
Repeat Infringers: Coviyo reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban users who repeatedly submit infringing content.
